I teamed up again with Curious Monkey and their young team Troupe, who not only have experience of being creative, non-conformist young people, but also of the care system.

Through several creative workshops, Troupe and I co-devised a soundtrack to their play ‘Hold Me Tight’, written by Kevin Dyer and directed by Poppy Crawshaw.

As I had already worked with them on The Collection, Troupe were familiar with my musical methodology and facilitative approach, so they really hit the ground running. They created melodies, beats, chords, basslines, vocalisations, beat-boxing and more - all of which I fused together into something rich, reflective, authentic and truly theirs.
